Jon began his career at the early age of fifteen when he lied about his age and snuck onto a camera crew. Three years later Jon was working full time as a camera operator for ESPN, ABC, NBC and many others.
At Erwin Brothers, Jon focuses on writing and producing projects and co-directing them with his brother Andy. He is also a cinematographer known for his ability to harness new digital technologies.
